'12 Days of Christmas' Day 4: Our Top 10 Holiday Songs

Hello! Welcome to Day 4 of our '12 Days of Christmas' Holiday Series! Today we're listing our top 10 holiday songs (in no particular order). So start an iTunes playlist and let's get singing :)

1) All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey
I don't care who you are, or what your musical taste is, this song is on EVERYBODY'S holiday playlist. It isn't christmas if this song isn't played at least 7400 times.Yes, the remix she did with the biebs (who is featured later on) is good, but this one is a Christmas classic!

2) 8 Days of Christmas - Destiny's Child
If you want your Christmas event to be jumpin' jumpin' (...HA) , this song by DC is a MUST. Also, who is this "baby" she is referring to, why did he get her a CLK Mercedes, and where can we get one of him...

3) Merry Christmas Happy Holidays - N*SYNC
OKAY. If you grew up in the 90's you are definitely not fighting us on this one. Time machines do exist, and they exist in the form of this song because the minute you hit play you will be magically transported back in time, and find yourself unwrapping gameboys and the spice world VHS. You will cry tears of joy, and you will love all 4 minutes and 38 seconds of it. Not to mention the acting in this vid is STELLAR, am i right?!

4) Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Christina Aguilera and Brian McKnight
Okay, whoever thought to put these two with the angelic vocal chords together was a genius. We love Christina. We love Brian. We love duets. This is perfect beyond words. (Eerily enough, this song just shuffled onto my iPod as I was typing this... and my ears are loving it...)

5) Mistletoe - Justin Bieber
BIEBS! Yes we own his christmas album, and yes we love it. Nothing says cold, Canadian Christmas like hearing the pre-brothel Biebs coming through the speakers while you hold a Tims cup in your glove smothered hands. Oh, Canada.

6) This Gift - 98 Degrees
Again, hello 90's! Nick Lachey in a turtle neck anyone? I love love love this song. Nick & Jeff harmonies, the fake snow, the finger pointing to the camera? love it all.

7) Christmas in Hollis - RUN-DMC
We're going a little further back for this one, causeeee it's CHRISTMAS TIME IN HOLLIS, QUEENS. Who doesn't want to listen to a rap about Christmas?!? Christmas in Hollis gets played by our cousin every year at our house. and it's absolutely awesome. So to all of you out there: "Open your eyes, and lend us an ear. We wanna say MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND HAPPY NEW YEAR."

8) Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - DMX
Seriously, if you haven't already seen this video I feel sorry for the Christmas events you've let pass you by while this beauty was floating about on the web. This is the best rendition I've heard of this song, maybe of any song, ever. I love the little ad libs he adds in because it shows he really made the song his own. Here's to you, DMX.

9) Santa Baby - Ariana Grande ft. Liz Gillies
This one is new! So I wouldn't say it's a classic just yet.. The Eartha Kitt version is the classic one we all know and love.. But it's no secret we love anything and everything Ariana does. and as expected, this version is super cute! Plus, she featured her Victorious co-star and BFF on it, so that's ten more cute points.

10) Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee
Okay, this is the definition of Christmas classic. If you're not playing this song during the holidays, then you're not doing it right my friend. Who doesn't want to get sentimental feelings? Who doesn't want to deck the halls with boughs of holly? Also, if this doesn't give you major Home Alone feels, you need to reconsider your priorities!

11) Honorable Mention: Anything off Michael Bublé's Christmas Album
Michael Bublé's voice is so so so smooth, it was like it was made for Christmas albums. And until his voice doppelgänger (and current object of Varsha & Sonia's affection), Liam Payne, remakes this album, we'll keep Bublé in the CD player. Between him and the Biebs, we've got Canadian Christmas covered.

Now that we all have our iTunes playlists ready, you're set to rock this holiday season!
