12' Days of Christmas' Day 5: Top 5 Christmas Movies

Hello! Welcome to Day 5 of our '12 Days of Christmas' Holiday Series! Today we're listing our top 5 holiday movies! So make a pot of tea and get your dvd player ready for a holiday movie marathon!

1) Miracle on 34th Street
This christmas movie is one that always pulls on my heart strings. It tells the story of a Mother and Daughter who don't really believe in the spirit of Christmas, until a mall Santa comes along and changes everything. It's a movie that makes you feel super warm-hearted. Plus Mara Wilson (who played everyone's favourite magical girl, Matilda) is in it. Super adorable.

2) Home Alone
Anyone who hasn't seen this movie is missing out on a classic and needs to watch this ASAP. It's not Christmas without seeing little Macaulay Culkin running around the house trying to out smart some burglars.

3) How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Both the cartoon version and the human version of this movie are great. It's a classic tale that gets everyone in the spirit of Christmas. Who doesn't love when the grinch's heart grows three times in size?

4) Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
Rudolph is a wonderful story of finding acceptance, and I always watch this every year when it comes on TV. It's adorable to see little rudolph running around in the snow.

5) The Holiday
Now although this isn't a typical Christmas movie, it is really nice to watch over the holidays. Two women from different sides of the world decide to switch homes for the holidays in an attempt to escape their current lives (hello, where do I sign up?!), and end up finding so much more than they bargained for. It's such a cute holiday movie, I totally recommend watching it this season.

Now that you have our Top 5 Holiday Movie picks, go make a cup of hot chocolate, wrap yourself up in some blankets, and enjoy watching!
